Well if you would skip fillers I would strongly recommend watching at least Episode 196-206, these are by far the best fillers in One piece (maybe even in Anime) but I would say watch them all if you are up for just fun episodes, the only fillers I didn't watch again were the foxy arc and the Don Accino arc, they might be really skippable

They have some canon moments in them. Regarding the nature of the Calm Belt.

I wouldn't say the only good one. Feudal Era Side Story, Rainbowmist, and the episode with Brook after Thriller Bark are good. Probably forgetting some too. G8 is the best one though.

The only filler arc good in one piece is the G 8 arc

I think you should watch. I think you would really like these specific filler episodes. However, since everyone's against it so far, maybe you should just watch it on your time.

The next arcs coming up are so much better. You can go back and watch it, but it's not really impactful to the overall story and Oda hasn't used anything from it to turn it into cannon. There are some cannon that make the story better, like the G* filler after Skypia, but this isn't one of those times.

I say skip over it. It's fine to watch but not remarkable, as well as conflicting with lore later on. I've seen some suggest watching it on your own, a decent suggestion. But I don't know how that would effect your schedule

We’re talking about a one week filler arc. It’s not that time consuming when you consider by the time Curtis watches all of One Piece it’ll be years down the line. I don’t understand why people don’t want to give him a week to enjoy a heartwarming story about a little girl. He eats that shit up

Most fillers in One Piece are actually good. but as a viewer it would suck for us to wait until you get to the canon stuff since its 1eps per day and there is a lot of hype stuff waiting in future

I actually like this idea a lot. Let him watch it on his own since so many just vote to skip filler because they want to get to their own series a little quicker. That will allow him to see if he likes the first filler and they can be happy. This one isn’t the worst or best filler in the series so let him get an equal footing feel for how they usually play out. I think he’d rather watch them going forward after seeing this filler

The problem with this arc is that it does actually introduce a few plot holes to the series. Otherwise it is fine. But i have to say no for that reason.

Well this filler arc aint great and it doesn´t really matter to me if we skip or watch it, it has a few funny momments tho. Personally i would suggest you watch it on your own and then react to he final filler since it crosses ove to canon.

I’m excited to get to the logue town arc. So far the serious has portrayed the navy to be a bunch of nasty and corrupted people. The next arc we meet a badass that stands for justice that gives the straw hats a run for their money the entire series.

Honestly this is one of the few filler parts I watch every time. Some are good some are just fine. But I've never encountered any really bad one piece episodes!

Most of One Piece"s filler episodes are easily skip-able. Fortunately, despite having the largest episode count, it has the least amount of "standard" filler.

If this was a weekly reaction I'd say 100% skip but as they are mostly daily watch them as you enjoy the show. Just consider them completely noncannon ovas or something. I know of two examples in that arc that are plot holes for later. Zoro says he can do something and does that later he will say he can not do at an important time in a future arc. They also meet something that when they meet something of the same sort later they are surprised and say they didnt believes they actually existed. Cant be more specific without spoilers. (Edit for typo lol)

They don’t break the story what are you guys exaggerating for? Just specify that nothing in these filler actually part of the story. He’d definitely enjoy them regardless. An inconsequential heartwarming sidestory before things take off

I think this is a good point. We're here to see Curtis react, not to rewatch only our favorite episodes of stuff. I get where people are coming from about the plot holes but I'm sure they can set him straight when the time comes. Edit: then again I haven't seen the whole thing and idk how much it breaks the plot so take my advice with lots of salt.
