Seemed pointless to point out if it wasn’t gonna come into play. Already proven wrong when Goku uses blue here and still has to grip the side to stay in. So... it was pointless to point out after all. Lol oh well.

It's possible that it was actually Vermoud that beat Beerus in the anime since the arm wrestling thing directly following up Whis' statement that one universe has a fighter stronger than its God of Destruction would kind of lead you that way. The manga does have a lot of differences from the anime, after all.

2019-01-24 16:32:56 +0000 UTCin the manga the mouse god gets a bit more background story. implying he had a contest with beerus but wins well still being weaker then beerus & this is why they are so annoyed with each other. Yet in the anime I think they skip most of that background story.

2019-01-24 15:28:04 +0000 UTCYou know, realistically, Lavender (the poison wolf guy) should be one of the biggest contenders in a tournament like this. He's not the most powerful, but he could literally just go around poisoning. They're not allowed to use items to heal, so they wouldn't really be able to do anything about it once they're poisoned. If I were him, I would be hiding and waiting to poison people while they're distracted rather than strolling up to one of the only guys that actually knows about his ability.
