I love Androud 17 in this arc but it's going to be weird hearing Tucker's voice from FMA coming out of his mouth

2019-01-13 07:07:53 +0000 UTCI like how each person Goku recruits and the events around it highlight something to learn from. Like from Krillin and 18 he learnt teamwork. And from 17 he learnt to stay in bounds (when he stopped himself from crashing into the island last episode) and not using his full power all the time (when he had to fight the poachers and not destroy the spaceship). It really makes it feel like this arc kind of matters and kind of adds to the usual dragonball formula of “I’m stronger than you so I win.”

As small as his role ended up being it’s interesting to revisit him after all this time. This is where his character really gets to shine and develop

2019-01-12 14:19:14 +0000 UTC17's dry humor is the best. I also really like that he's accepted Krillin as part of the family to the point that he just straight up calls him his brother. I know plenty of people with brothers and sisters-in-law that never drop the in-law part.
