So once free 17 just wants to do what HE wants since he was never able to before and just have what his undeveloped mind =s fun. This can also explain how the 17 and 18 of trunks time seem to act very childish even compared to our 17 and 18. Laughing like kids when destroying things, stealing "stuff" just to have it, or going to theme parks to actually ride rides before destroying said park like a discarded toy.

2019-01-09 14:38:58 +0000 UTC17 always struck me more as a chill kind of guy looking for fun rather than the brooding type in DBZ. Super's another matter since he's had over a decade to mature, but back in DBZ, he just seemed to be all about enjoying himself, doing stuff like grabbing a truck instead of flying or (in Trunks' timeline) having fun at the amusement park while terrorizing the people.
