Toppos Dubbed version is a bit more annoying but i never had a problem with him. Also considering the fact that he is kinda right about Goku. True he gave his or another universe a chance to survive but he was still all up for the fight before knowing the fact that the universes were up on Zenos chopping block. Hes not malicious but he doesn't really give a shit either.

I most definitely wouldn't compare him to Pain. It's not so much WHAT he stands for that annoys me, it's the way he goes about expressing it. :-D

At least Toppo is ACTUALLY a good person. He's not like Pain who has a god complex, he actually serves justice, taking care of criminals. In this instance, the "criminal" just happens to be the the main character. I just wanted to get that off my chest, I know I'm probably not gonna sway your opinion of Toppo.

Fun fact: The manga and anime for Dragon Ball Super do their own slightly different takes on the story, and in the manga version, Goku actually lost this fight against Toppo. That shouldn't really be used as a basis for how strong Toppo is, though. The strength of the characters can vary a lot between the anime and manga, especially later on during the actual Tournament of Power, and even then, it was more of exploiting a split second opening rather than being definitively stronger. Also, Toppo's just way more pleasant in the manga version. He does the standard taunting the enemy thing during the actual fight, not that Goku doesn't do it himself, but afterwards, he compliments Goku on his strength and even gives him some advice. It's much more befitting of a hero of justice like him.
