2019-01-02 04:54:58 +0000 UTCKalluto was never a confusion. He is a boy, he doesn't pretend to be anything else, and no one in the family thinks he's a girl, not even Killua. That style of dress was even something men wore if you go far enough back anyway, it's just not common anymore. All official material lists Kalluto as a boy as well. Alluka is an entirely different situation that many people have gone through to death though, whether it's out of disrespect from the family, the duality of what inhabits the body, or just something lost in translation/interpretation.

2019-01-01 21:37:05 +0000 UTCI'm just gonna put out what I think about the Zoldyck gender confusion. Since it's never actually revealed what their genders are, this is only my opinion. The Zoldycks for some reason refer to all of their children as boys, but both Kalluto and Alluka are girls. Every member of the family refers to the two as boys and trains them like they are, regardless of the gender they were born as. Except for Killua, he refers to his sisters as girls because he doesn't fully relate to the rest of his family. Remember this is my own thinking, nothing has actually been confirmed.

According to the way they named all of them, the last letter (in japanese) of the older one will be the first letter of the younger's name. Illumi (Irumi), Milky (Miruki), Killua(KiruA), ... and Kalluto (Karuto). (I don't put the name of the 4th because I don't know you watched it already or not and Kalluto is the one who replaced No.4 of Hisoka in Phantom Troupe. So, in strict meaning the 4th would be another brother too (But I bet you will confused A LOT after this LOL).
