That's what Kamina embodied and obviously not everyone took that to heart. Even though that's exactly what they did 7 years ago to obtain freedom to begin with. That's what I can't understand about the post-time skip.

Oh wow.... Shocker there. Rossieu doesn't know everything. Yeah, scraping all of the gunmen was a really smart idea... Thankfully the mechanics didn't listen. I see lots of people justifying Rossieu's actions but I feel like those people are forgetting the context of how we got here. Like how this World came to be and how they gained their freedom to begin with.

A battle of two ideals, a battle of beliefs and customs. Rossieu is just trying to keep a stable government. Simon being himself just poses too much threat to order. People are either Rossieus, or Kaminas. Unfortunately these people clash and make the government a very unstable thing to control. At first I was unbelievably pissed at Rossieu, but through further examination and thought, he's just trying to do his duty to the people of eart and unfortunately Simon's beliefs and ways of problem solving are too radical to show as a positive in the community. He needed to show this as irresponsible and show people are responsible for their actions. Can you even imagine the pressure on him right now though? It's a hard see I know but in the end, both ideals can;t exist indefinitely alone. Their needs to be balance. Like drilling a hole, you need to be straight, balanced, and forceful.

Viral and Simon in prison was as awesome as I hoped it would be. Who doesn't love a good prison brawl? Also Foghorn was funny "I say, I say, who's responsible, I say who's responsible for this unwarranted assault on my personage!" Kittan choosing to go out fighting was also incredibly badass. I mean the man stood up to a freaking explosive alien life form with a shotgun for crying out loud! Glad to see Yokko back and as foul mouthed as ever.
