This is how nen works in general, since it was explained in the yorknew arc. How nen after death could become even stronger depending on the mindset after death. For pitou her extreme loyalty allowed her nen to become even stronger to kill gon . If say Kurapika were to die because he hates the troupe his residual nen would attack Chrollo and since he has no nen to protect himself he would die, that is the reason the troupe looked for a nen exorcist and didn't try to kill kurapika. It would only attack Chrollo because Kurapika nen blade is attached to his heart making it so he can't use nen or else he dies.

If you had watched the Anime, the experience would have been 100 times better because you would have known how wildly powerful Pitou is and how normally Gon wouldnt stand a chance. And the best thing of this show is Killuas and Gons friendship which makes this episode even more tragic.

I feel like when pitou said he's as strong as the king, it was the king prior to the battle with netero, but with his power up after consuming part of both pouf and yupi, I feel that gon would still take an L but the king would be fucked up to the point where he's barely alive. Let's discuss it :)

she has a string puppet attack, like a ghost controlling her body to make it stronger. Yet if that is how the power works, that means her power can attack one more time even after her death as the energy slowly leaves her body because the energy itself is alive. Not having seen this show but a move like this was used in a different anime.

If you can remember, when Gon and Killua going to see Pitou at the Palace, Killua afraid to lose Gon. And what's broke my heart the most was when I saw Killua can do only standing see his most important person in his life killing himself in front of Killua and yet he can do nothing to stop that situation. When I first watched this in the day it released, the moment Killua screamed "Gon!" made me cried for 30 minutes and still cried or almost cried everytime I watched this.

Its rage because Gon does what he did out of rage and hatred towards Pitou and himself.She is the reason Kite is dead, and he believes himself responsible by just having been there. And he releases all this anger and hatred by using the Condition system to power himself up to the point he could utterly obliterate Pitou. So yeah I'd definitely consider this a rage moment in anime.

I haven't smoked in 10 years, but every time I see these episodes i feel like i need an after-sex cigarette from this show fucking my heart. You picked a good time to break your 1 episode per day rule.

First of all merry Christmas everyone and the episode that all hxh fans here in the goosh wanted Curtis to see has come dam what a journey and were almost done oh and second, if you guys can help me out with this, why is that moment with gon considered a rage moment? I mean I've seen allot of rage moments in anime and some have been awesome where they just lose their shit and that's probably what happened to gon but why is it above all else? Because I've heard many people that know about anime call this scene "the greatest rage moment in anime history" why is that? I'm not the biggest knower of hxh so that's why I'm asking. If someone could explain this to me that would be awesome

This was a power up done right. They sorta explain it in people's reactions but also because we know how nen works we know oooh shit. With nen you want something you make a deal. I do this and get that. Earlier in the show we see how powerful that can be with the I will only use on spiders and hamper myself the rest of the time on pain of death in return for the power to kill the spiders. Here we see.... I dont care take it all. All my potential all my nen my life force take it all I dont care. This target of all my rage and hate death for it all and nen delivers. In a way it was the same for her. She wanted to protect the king and would do it with her own death and body if necessary. She must stop gon. After her death her nen still tried to fulfill that deal. Made her a corpse puppet and attacked with "ever more powerful nen" it's a great power system and explains the big power up moments better then the typical shonen he just used grit and the power of yelling to win there is a oh shit he is much more powerful what will the price be?

people tend to give anime the poor name of cartoons for kids but its telling a story in the form of animation and it very well can be one of the most complex things in literature if the story is good enough and you see this is one of the anime which is hella complex no kid could decipher it
