Hopefully you can get around to watch that in the future! It's another mecha anime and one of my all time favorite animes. If you're loving Gurren Lagann then you'd 100% love that too!

There are a couple parts that approach breather status, but even then it's still ramping up to the show's climax. In other series you can graph the buildup and it'd look like something from the stock market, with ups and downs all over the place. If you do that with GL you just get a damn near straight line that pierces the heavens.
