VEGETA: PRINCE OF ALL SAIYANS AND ABSOLUTE BADASS! - DBS #126

As badass and cool as we all know Vegeta to be, I didn't foresee him taking down a God of Destruction by himself! Total, pure LEGEND!!

Maybe, if the 3 weren't so beat up... As is, I'd have to say the huge edge goes to Jiren.

Tengen Toppo: Gurren Lagan!

Liesmith

Frieza is unconscious, for now it is 3 vs 1. Do you think that is even?

beerus is the strongest out of all the universes that fight in this tournament, the 3 universes not in this tournament might have a stronger god.

He didn't really let go of everything when he turned Majin. If that were the case he'd have killed Goku and never suicided and he'd have never shown affection for trunks. All he was trying to do when letting Babidi in was to get back the things he lost by coming to earth and create and easy situation where him and Goku can fight all out.

How did using destruction power abandon his Pride though?

Solebat

What Toppo just did is something Vegeta has done a couple times. Toppo let go of his pride for the sake of others, his pride as a Pride Trooper and Warrior of Justice. Vegeta let go of his pride this way too, examples being when he allowed Babidi to invade his mind and basically curse him so he stood a chance against Goku. Really Vegeta’s wrong when he says he let’s go of nothing since there are times when he just lets it go for others.

I am amazed that Jiren is so much stronger than a God of Destruction! It definitely reorganizes the whole power scaling outlook. :-)

It would be dumb if someone was disqualified from the tournament for being too strong even though they're still a mortal, that completely goes against the idea the these represent the universe's strongest mortals

Darryl Robson

The reason Jiren disrespected Toppo was because Jiren believes that strength is absolute. So when Toppo sacrificed everything he believed in and still lost without eliminating anyone, it made Jiren feel that Toppo really was worthless to the team.

Jake Young

This he never gave us saving his universe he even said that much.

PKKite

Still a badass

grimmjow

I think toppo was a low tier god of destruction tbh. Right below champa( on second thought chanpa would be a mid tier nevermind)

grimmjow

Toppo isn't a proponent of wonton destruction. Like he said, "If justice can't protect our universe, then it's useless!" He's fighting to protect everything he loves the same as Vegeta, but whereas Vegeta chose to embrace his pride as a source of power, Toppo chose to abandon his idea of justice because he saw it as something holding him back. I'm actually kind of on Toppo's side. If you *can* use everything as motivation to become stronger like Vegeta, that's fine, but personal morals are no excuse for deliberately not doing something that you know could save countless lives or at least help save countless lives. Also, Vegeta might be holding onto his morals this time, but I personally see Toppo abandoning his idea of justice to protect his universe as being on the same level as Vegeta, who has enormous pride in his own abilities, throwing away that pride to fuse with Goku (twice so far I might add) in order to protect the people he loves.

this episode was by far one of my favorites during this arc, especially with that call back. i dont like Jiren's character because he had basically 0 character development or anything up until the last few episodes. had they had him be the whole "Strength is Absolute. Nothing Else Matters." guy from the get go he would've been a far better character in my opinion

Agent Snowman

It was hinted that it belmod and qentilla are also on par with beerus. I would say those 3 are the top gods of destruction

grimmjow

curtis jiren is stronger than all the gods of destruction im more surprised that he was allowed to compete. Its heavily hintted that beerus, belmod(clown god),quintela(that mouse god you hat) are the top tier gods of destruction.

grimmjow

Lol and now the running gag of were is frieza begins lol

grimmjow

I personally like the call back to Majin Vegeta here in this episode because in a way it reflects back on Toppo. Toppo having given up everything he believed in for the sake of survival. Where Majin Vegeta gave up everything at the time for power the power boost Babidi gave him.

Dont Worry Baldman Friezas not dead or erased yet....he just hasnt shown up cause hes busy taking a sh!t

Meelog Malterion

Frieza is assumed unconscious because Toppo would have been disqualified for killing him.

Sarkkoth

I like vegeta like everyone else but i didn't like him eliminating toppo because it makes him look weak and undermines his power.

Aidan

I really hate how they portray jiren there. I really liked the idea of jiren being an opponent that you really can't call a dick or a bad guy. Especially since that is never really true of the final antagonist of an arc.

Miklar Sihn

His name was vegeta a proud saiyan Prince

Daniel Turner

Until the Grand Priest announces that Frieza has dropped out and appears in the stands, we can assume he's still in.

Can't wait for episodes 129-131

Master Zed

These last few episodes are nothing but pure greatness

Brother E

Beerus was stated to be the strongest in the manga. It is unclear if that applies to the anime but it has been implied.
