Because then people would think that its Super Saiyan Blue 2, as the Grade forms arent really popular as names. People usually just use Super [Name] and Ultra [Name] or Ascended and stuff. Also: Super Saiyan Blue Grade 2 just doesnt sound cool.

Yes, considering Super Saiyan Blue is just someone going Super Saiyan with God Ki than the tier goes the following. 1- Base = Super Saiyajin God 2- SSJ = Super Saiyajin Blue 3- SSJ Grade 2 = Super Saiyajin Blue Evolution Now im using Saiyajin since we were using the "correct" abbreviation for the Saiyan forms. (Hope i don't sound like an elitist)

I remember back when this episode first came out and Vegeta's new form wasn't given its name people came up with a bunch of different names. My personal favorite was "Super Saiyan Bluer than Blue". Its kinda what DBZ did with Super Vegeta only difference the manga already had a actual canon name being Super Saiyan Grade 2. Why the anime didn't use this i have no idea...

I don't agree. SSJGod is base form. Blue is SSJ and Royal Blue is Super Vegeta or USSJ. They haven't reached the Godly equivalent of SSJ2 let alone SSJ3.

The name given to the blue version was I think Super Saiyan royal blue. Back when I first saw this I thought they where related.

Now I think it was once said after Super ended that Vegeta’s evolution form was basically Super Saiyan Blues Super Vegeta form (or as it was said in the manga Super Saiyan Grade 2) if it was explained this way in Super that woulda been awesome. However we just get a recycled “Vegeta broke his limit/barrier” thing as said with UI. My only real problem with it is that Vegeta’s eyes hurt mine by just looking at them.

NOTE: This is the second time vegeta got HIS OWN form that wasnt just copying someone like ssj2 with Gohan or the 2 god forms and ssj1 from goku. The only other time would be Super Vegeta aka the Ascended ssj1. Majin Vegeta was more of a buff than a true form. And others had it before him
