I have mixed feelings about Rin's mother. On the one hand she took off when the going got tough. But on the other hand she stayed a lot longer than most people would have with an unwanted child. (Most would've given it up for adoption from the get go). She ensured that Rin had all her vaccinations, though whether that was ought of love or obligation who's to say. I think rewatching Usagi Drop a second time will give me a definite answer. On whether I think she's the biggest bitch in the history of Anime or not.
