Yes nemu said everything perfectly to get in Ainzs good will. Ainz takes everything to do with the supreme ones very seriously it can be the best thing to say to him or the worst. To be discussed more later.

2019-02-20 19:45:10 +0000 UTCYeah i think it adds a bit of depth to his character and motivations you dont usually see in other shows that just want to be a fun romp in another world. All he has are the memories of his friends and his only desire is to preserve what they created and find them. He doesnt care about good or evil or the fate of the world. It kinda gets to me whenever you see ainz being reminded of his friends based on the actions of the NPCs they created. Remembering friends long gone. Everyone old enough has lost friends. Be it to time, distance, falling outs, death. Ainz's biggest weakness is probably his inability to let go. The reason he risked his life to fight shaltear was simply because he was afraid of losing anymore NPCs and he even hesitated during that fight. Even his fighting style was to adopt their equipment when he fought shaltear. Almost like they were fighting together. To him there is nothing more sacred than the memories and echos of his friends. And god help anyone who dares step on those memories.

It starts with momon failing to accept that ydrasil and subsequently ainz oon goal was over. 1 by 1 he watches his friends leave the game for good and he is left all alone with the home he built with his friends and the echos they created. From the start his objective is to take those echos and strengthen nazerick so he can preserve it and then look for his friends with the hope one day they can be together again. The whole time in the back of his head he has this hope and by living with all the NPCs they created he is constantly reminded of them and their personality traits. Even when they work against him like when sebas couldnt let it go when he saw someone in need. (Sebas was created by lord touch me who once saved momon for the same reason)

It's only in retrospect that she's become one of my waifus in this series. It probably has something to do with the whole wanting to watch Nphirea and Enri die thing. Speaking of which those two should hurry up and get hitched. (Hey it's essentially the Middle Ages and marriages have been built on a lot less than the two of them have endured together.

2019-02-20 17:45:34 +0000 UTCfrom what i know with ains and empathy in the game he was playing there was a morality system and he was maxed on the evil side of it so my theory is that he is slowly being mentally forced into that mentality to align himself with all his character stats.
