No worries at all, Justin... I know the Japanese companies really get their panties bunched about their mangas. A couple YouTubers who were CLEARLY using them within Fair Use had their channels canned over it. Of course, they got them back, but those Japanese companies HATE American Fair Use! :-(

The rest of the manga hasn't been adapted because there simply isn't enough material to be adapted into a full anime season. The author has been going on and off hiatus's for over a decade due to lower back pain and other undisclosed illnesses. There is definitely a cultural leniency in Japan to a lack of productivity if a person is sick or overworked. In Japan, in school it's extremely accepted to fall asleep at your desk because they consider it to be a sign that you're working hard. People even fall asleep at their desk at work.

I'd say for a first attempt this went over pretty well, seems people enjoyed the format. the next series poll and suggestion thread will be in around 6-7 weeks after the series following food wars, so I'll be suggesting the HXH manga for the next series to do for the poll then, people are really clamouring for him to see a certain fight, wonder what one it could be schwing?. that means that there'll be more options for series we can introduce as well on the patreon with the inclusion of manga. Might also take a weight off curtis’s back, I don’t know the editing process behind these videos but besides the green screen I’d guess it’d be easier to set up, similar to the live streams.

I REALLY appreciate you reading HxH manga. As I can say I'm a fanboy of this great series, but I really understand that you can't remember the name of many characters here. And I feel very happy to see you said it was great manga. Because this will surely turned into another masterpiece of Togashi himself in the end. And I think the more recent chapter you read, it's more you will need during this long video. There will be A LOT MORE of informations and characters you will see in the future and I wish you to still have fun reading this half-fiction-half-manga great story!

Actually, though, the centering was specifically by design because of Fair Use. I don't want it to be easy for people to see panels, unless I'm highlighting something, in which case I have no problem with moving. :-)

oh yeah 2 things, you may wanna make so you're a bit off centre next time we try this maybe, I know it's to keep in fair use but it might make it easier to show a panel you want to show in the future, also I'd add the Hunter X hunter tag to the video to make it easier for people who wanna see the full series of reactions in the future

These manga reactions are a great idea. Could not something like that also be implemented at the Goosh? Because there are some mangas that did not get anime adaptation and it's really worth reading !!! :)

nice, I think for the first attempt it turned out well, of course this type of thing will require a few attempts to get everything perfect but I think it was a strong start, also I'd suggest always making sure you reach the end of the chapter because there should have been a really creepy sketch of alluka mentioning she's from the dark continent, may end up doing this again eventually, maybe not next month but possibly the following month, we'll see, I'd definitely mention that manga reactions could be a possibility for a new reaction series during one of the one piece breaks or after the series after food wars, HXH could be caught up in like, 25 vids at the most?

I like this! One thing I would like to suggest is that you would keep that chapter number somewhere on the screen so we can read/see the pictures of the manga on our ends and you don't need to break laws or so.
