ALICE’S MOM IS HOT… AND POSSIBLY A LITTLE CRAZY! - Food Wars S2E8

The fish market trip proved that Soma is really up against it in this Triple Threat match! However, also important is that Alice's mom is really hot!... And judging by what she said to Soma near the end, possibly a little bit crazy.

ALICE’S MOM IS HOT… AND POSSIBLY A LITTLE CRAZY! - Food Wars S2E8

Like I said, we're rather differing on interpretation. But I don't care anymore. Rather, I have a separate question, since you're so adamant about not reaction to the whole movie, how about a reaction to the final battle? You could watch the movie like you'd normally do, on your own, and then when you get to the start of the final fight, you turn on the recording software and go from there. Again, you could even have someone tell you at what time the battle starts so you'd be ready.

What I said reflects what is actually in the Fair Use doctrine. I can’t account for what you may have been told is in it.

Well, it's hardly my fault you're jaded, is it? You don't "need" to go over it again if you don't want to. I'm not holding a pistol to your head. All I did was ask a question and engage you on your answer. You might have had this conversation many times, but not with me, and being told that you've been over this before hardly answers my concerns or thoughts about anything. But I never said you HAD to do anything. I never said that you either HAD to explain things to me or HAD to watch the movie. I. Just. Asked. Curtis. And what you said doesn't match up with what I've been told about Fair Use. Or rather, your interpretation doesn't. But it doesn't matter. You're clearly agitated. Have a nice day, Curtis.

No, I wouldn't put her ahead of Jun... Alice's mom is hot, but Jun is really cute and quirky; she wins! :-D

Yes, it's a conversation I've had MANY times... You are absolutely 100% incorrect about Fair Use. What you are describing is actually the absolute antithesis of what Fair Use states. Fair Use, while vague, outlines points such as total amount of time of material used vs. the total amount of time for the work as a whole. There is the next step of determining if, within a series, total time would be of an individual episode or the series as a whole. Further - and more importantly - is the issue of the work being transformative. My proof of the transformative nature of what I'm doing is largely in that I can absolutely prove that the VAST majority of my viewers already have full and complete knowledge of the material, and are watching for my reaction. This is further backed up here at THE GOOSH by people being willing to pay to watch the reactions when the content of the originals is available for free on the Internet, once more proving the transformative nature of my reaction as the impetus for watching. What you are suggesting is a method for trying to outmaneuver auto-detect systems. Doing this is proof that someone does NOT believe that their content would fall under Fair Use guidelines, because why go to the trouble of distorting images and sounds if what you're doing is already covered legally? The Fair Use portion of copyright law is very brief and I've read it so many times I basically have it memorized. I would love to see the court case where someone's defense of Fair use is that the work is transformative because they put a filter on the original content. I'm sure that's a winner... I'm not quite sure why I need to go over this again. The fact that I'm not comfortable with doing movies isn't enough of a reason? I need to, once again, explain why I feel that way?

So Alices mom better than Yun or not XD?

You could always flip the movie around, maybe show it in a mirror, put a minimalistic colour filter on-top, ect. The crux of fair use is that what you're showing must not amount to the same experience as watching the show or movie properly. Essentially, your video should not be able to replace the actual experience. Cutting out parts like you do for the regular reactions achieves that, but you could just as well distort the experience such as how I mentioned. So you could still avoid using a timer (I personally loathe timers) and just cut it like you normally do. I'm not trying to force you or bug you about it or anything, we're just having a conversation.

Scryehard

No, it's just a lot to go into, and we've already been through it a bunch of times. I thought maybe that they are inconvenient for me might be enough... Long story short, movies are a totally different animal when it comes to Fair use because you're judging the amount of footage used against the entirety of the movie, rather than the entirety of a whole episodic series. Because of that, the clearly best way to go about doing them was with face cam and a timer. The problem now is, I am alone on the house with just my mother downstairs a majority of the time that I'm recording, and it's typically very unlikely to be able to go an hour and a half to two hours without interruption, which I need to complete the video. Many of the videos I make for the channel I am interrupted while recording, but they're edited anyway so it's not that big of a deal. As I mentioned, I don't care for doing the movies in the traditional edit, as there is a precedent for how much footage can be used, and the face cam and timer thing is much better. People would just be disappointed in a movie reaction that was cut up as much as I would need to.

Spaz Boys Comedy

I'm not really sure what you mean. Could you elaborate? If you're intentionally being vague because it's personal information you'd rather not divulge, then sorry for not taking the hint.

Scryehard

I didn’t say it was a lack of time. Movies are difficult for me because of the way I prefer to watch them not being in concert with my ability to do so for a reaction vid, due to the circumstances within my household.

Spaz Boys Comedy

Ah, no time? You could always split your viewing sessions into parts and slap them together. I could even go through the movie and try to find you some good story beats to end at, if you want. As someone who's watched you go through the entire Hero Academia experience, I feel like I'd be missing out if you just go watch the movie on your own without me getting to see it.

Scryehard

No, reactions to movies can be difficult for me because of the way things are around my house. I'll probably be watching it soon, though.

Spaz Boys Comedy

Actually, everything we watch is voted on by you guys. :-) As far as 7DS, Brax has watched it and loved it, and I really enjoyed the abridged, so I certainly wouldn't be sad if it got voted in.

Spaz Boys Comedy

Hey Curtis! Unrelated to the video, but since the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes movie is now available online, are you going to record a reaction to it?

Scryehard

Hey I’m really enjoying all the videos just curious if you have any plans on doing the seven deadly sins in the future. I understand you have a lot on your plate just curious if it was on your radar.

Zach eubanks

Now i can't remember what it was he saw. But an alternate thing he could have looked at for ideas on aging is Fumio herself. She has aged somewhat.

Miklar Sihn

Agreed! 😄
