Yep, too bad for me when I already finished all 13 volumes of LN which are available in English :D Although it has been a while since some older ones so by the time the anime gets there if it does I wont remember all the details anyway so I will be good :D

that is a very normal thing for LN addaptations, the whole 3-4 books per 12 episode season. I quite like it as it's easy to read the books from the get go without being board as you constantly get more and more info as you read that the anime skipped over for time reasons. I do addmit that it does make things quite frusrating if you happend to ready the books before the anime, I got the same feel with Tensei Slime. So many details left out that implies the world is like so when it isn't

Well he was kinda changed when the game ended. His emotions are now restricted. So to speak he only thinks with his brain, not his heart. Similar to the Kingdom Hearts 2 nobodies characters. I think we'd all be dicks if we lost our understanding of emotion, as with that empathy flies out the window. Every decision he makes, even when it appears to be out of kindness is for another reason, calculated plan or simply what benefits him in the long run.

Yep definitely check them out. The anime isnt bad, but they rush things too much and leaving out a lot of details. Putting 3 LN and like 1000 pages of material into 12 or so episodes in the second season is no good and the third is the same way. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy the anime nevertheless as it is nice to see the story animated but the lack of details is really noticeable here.

Ains and co. are kinda like Beerus. They're not good guys, but they aren't particularly bad either. They still gotta get their shit done.

Not totally explained in the anime, but the 'bipedal sheep' Demiurge makes mention of in this episode are actually the humans that summoned angels from the early episodes, as well as random kidnapped people. Demiurges sheep farm is really a concentration camp, where he skins the people alive, makes parchment out of their skin and heals them back up so they can be skinned again. He performs other experiments on them as well that i won't mention due to spoilers, but yeah, in case you were not TOTALLY convinced the Nazarik crew isn't a group of goody goody's

Ah yes Demiurge's happy farm, skinning humans alive for scrolls and then using healing magic to skin them again. And since those humans don't see the joy of being usefull to the Supreme One, Demiurge's assistant cut the leg of one of them, so when the others look at that they are happy to have two legs.

Well more often than not you can't establish rule over someone without some initial fear. I think more what they're getting at is they don't want Cocytus to have a heavy-handed rule. They want him to be a magnanimous governor. Also hearing Demiurge say "A Modest Proposal" is kind of chilling. Because this is a guy who would read A Modest Proposal and think it was a perfectly well thought out plan for dealing with overpopulation in a country. That's right Demiurge would eat and skin babies.

The line about freezing the lake so he doesn't get their mud on him is so great in the LN. Your getting the lizardmen thoughts on it in the book. To them he used power so far beyond the realms of possibility not to cower them not in war not all out fighting. Nope just to avoid getting his robes dirty. Add that to the fact that when they first saw him they literally thought he was Death. Add what happens next episode and I'll continue this comment on that one

Next episode is one of my favorites! Sebas and Cocytus are easily the coolest guardians, while also oddly being the nicest.
