I've only left a few comments, but I just wanted say thank you Curtis and all the Gooshers, you're helping me get through or at least deal with having depression/anxiety, and what with having to move in winter and having my laptop break ( which was my only way of playing games with and hanging out with my friends ) you guys have helped me get a few laughs in every time I visit here.

Hey, Curtis, when I first found you a couple of years ago, I was just enjoying your clips for entertainment. Honestly, as someone whose taste in humor isn't exactly of the sexual variety, I (initially) shamefully enjoyed yours for the sake of its candid reflection of your light and big hearted personality. Months down the line, I enjoyed watching Naruto with you, then I enjoyed hanging out in the livestream-- I realized how closely you valued your viewers. In a system that acceptably puts the viewer and creator on separate footing, you spared no effort keeping us as close as possible. In large part, I'm sure this was because your personality is so shockingly obvious that there is no sign of fronting a palpable internet personality. Somebody who recognizes that social dignity only inhibits their true self is always extremely charismatic to those whose interests align. Come summer of my senior year of high school, going into college for something I didn't want to do (and knew it), my life's purpose, unknown to me at the time, under layers of doubt, insecurity, and self-loathing was unreachable at the time. But at the same level as my life's purpose, distant but adjacent, would be the genuine enjoyment I got out of returning daily for consistency and friendship with you and the community. It would be corny and in-genuine to say that you fixed so much of the crushing uncertainty in this past chapter of my life, but some time later, when I have seemed to have unearthed it, I didn't find it completely one thing, like I naively thought it would be. Instead I found it in an amalgamation of my passions, my wants, my own esteem, my career, the loving relationships of those closest to me, the building up of the next generation, my family, and my faith. Concretely, your channel, and the community you've made has recognizably provided me for little facets of many of those. I didn't recognize it at the time, I just enjoyed it, but now that I do, it makes me value it all the more. I know I am another voice in the crowd, but this is an analysis of what you mean to me. I'm sure the only difference between me and the majority of your other viewers is that nobody wants to introspect/type this all out xD. The point is, I hope you never lose sight of the individual impact you make on each digit on your "views" or 1,982 "patrons". I appreciate your content so much. I appreciate your personality so much; you're separate from other entertainment. Thank you for the help that you didn't know you were providing. Thanks for reading the GOOSH of my hokey heart. Didn't expect to be called out directly but I'm really glad you identified with my comment and I love being part of this community. I'm in a linked 5 year graduate program so only one more year after this one but I don't get my scholarships for this fifth year, maybe after that I can come back and be a 100 dollar goosh and make you watch my stuff, although somebody already took my all time favorite Nichijou.

Part of what makes this so much fun is how the community has shaped itself, like I remember when I first started joining the streams, it was clear that the community was a great place, upheld by you and all the regulars like Brother E and Wolfie, and slowly I started to feel like I wasn't just another name in the chat too, you've created a community where we can all come and let off steam, and be with friends, because truly, all of us here are friends.
