Spaz Boys Comedy

I mostly liked this arc, aside from Dragonball's bonkers version of time travel. However, I think it would've been much stronger if it'd just *started* with Future Trunks showing up out of the blue, beat to shit and unresponsive. The audience wouldn't know what was going on, but would know that something *nasty* happens in the future. Then, the episode could end with him attacking Goku like that, and the audience would shit bricks.

My biggest problem with this arc (without spoiling anything) is Super’s biggest Flaws. Mischaracterization or Out of Character moments which is worst in this arc. (There’s also the thing about the ending to the arc being generally disliked, though I don’t really care about that but I can see why people complain about it. )

It's KILLING me how he hasn't put two and two together about a certain character haha it's not much of a spoiler but I'm sure you all know what I mean. I was legit yelling at my screen as it was being made obvious. I'm sure he will pick it up soon enough lol.

To be fair, a lot of people were very unhappy around the time Super started airing because it began with two entire arcs dedicated to what we had already seen in the movies with relatively minor differences. Then there's also the fact that, as a result of poor scheduling, the art and animation was pretty bad. It only really started getting better towards the end of the Universe 6 arc, improving even more during this arc, and, in my opinion, only just got to the point where it was consistently good (or decent at least) during the arc after this one. Of course, there are some people that just don't like the writing of Super, but those other two points contribute a lot to people not liking Super.
