I dont know if you noticed Curtis, but my favorite thing about this song is that it’s an apology from each other- Ed, who paid no heed to the laws, and Al, who followed without arguing. Their mistakes costs them so much but its such a great story and Vic (and the original Russian singers) did so well with this

Hey Curtis. You should either watch privately or react to the Traumerei AMV on YouTube. It is an incredibly well-edited fanmade music video that does a reimagining of Fullmetal Alchemist where Ed loses both his mom and Alphonese, and then lives his life as a guilt-stricken Dog of the Military. There is also the John the Hellhound AMV, which builds a story where Ed is a mad scientist sort of like Goldtooth from the real series. He works for Bradley and Mustang tries to catch him. Both of these are quite good, and I'd love to watch you react to both.

Yeah this is an adaptation of one of the more prominent songs of the original full metal alchemist series. I'd check out the original as well for some fun, it's called bratja, I'd say the original series had superior music in general it had a unique soundtrack that stands out from FMAB which has a more standard anime soundtrack, plus the original is more a drama than an action series so the music was more dripping with emotion, this and dante's theme are top notch.

I'm glad you finally had a chance to hear this! In the 2003 FMA series, 'Brothers' was a prominent musical theme in the anime, usually instrumental but sometimes with the Japanese lyrics. Vic Mignogna is Ed Elric's voice actor in both 2003 and FMAB, and he sings this english translation of the lyrics for the fans.
