The ECW doesn't kill the user, its like Tien's Tri Beam. It uses the raw life energy in the user. Roshi's life essence is pretty much the same as a normal humans so it killed him. One thing to remember is that Roshi cannot die of old age but he can die from everything else, meaning his life essence is unchanged by his immortality. Someone who has trained their body and spirit past human limitations won't die from using the ECW. Meaning just about every Z fighter can use it without dying. Tien was able to use it against King Piccolo's goons because he had trained his body to use the tri beam. So no, this is not a retcon. It has remained the same since the technique was revealed.

Meelog, that’s not what I meant, how did goku black use instant transmission to get to Zamasu when Goku couldn’t use it to get to trunks because of the dimension thing that black open up. He said he couldn’t sense anything because that thing is there. And Black said he didn’t really know what he created. And yet black was able to teleport fine.

Thats what ive been wondering for episodes. Hes got Gokus body, but not his knowledge. Makes no sense to me.

The thing is in the Sub Goku Black was a super badass and people love him so much he is insanely popular In the dub he is pretty much like Zamasu while in the Sub he was more of a Goku Zamasu fusion and his own entity. And Zamasu was not so annoying as here I can now say its a very different experience watching this than what I had the first time.

Has Curtis even seen all of DBZ or just bits and parts here and there?
