I know I'm super late, but I loved the Father/Chief in this episode. Not because I agreed with him, but because he was a great foil for Kamina. What was left of his fighting spirit (which Kamina correctly saw he still had) he spent on faith and strict order. Trying to govern a people of finite resources, he lost the fighting spirit man thrives on, and instead tried to rule through lame and borderline cruel efficiency. So many people could learn a thing or two watching how much Kamina and the Chief's philosophies diverge.

The uncut episode is called there are some things a man has to see or something along those lines.
