Zamasu already hated mortals before he met Goku.. so Zamasu of the Future Trunks timeline wished to be invincible since Goku was already dead

The joke is that Goku was referring to how Trunks gave Mai the Senzu bean not the kiss itself. Vegeta misunderstands and as you can tell a lot more people miss understood that as well. The Dub as you saw didnβt help in the slightest.
