The ability is amazing, that being said though Killua didn't actually do a ton of damage to Youpi.

Oh, yeah the thing about Youpi and the other royal guards... As to why he didnt seem very hurt, thats because Killuas technique only gives him speed. He can't actually hurt Youpi, none of them have been shown able to actually hurt him so far. And if you recall, Netero blew Pitou away but all that did was send her flying? Even that didnt injure or hurt her in the slightest seemingly. As to why that is, well Aura is mainly defense and offence purely unless you use techniques and the royal guard are aura monsters. The aura in their defence+ Their natural defensive capabilities makes hurting them really hard.

I love how Killuas new ability is badass, for all the right reasons. Its not because his hair grew or changed color or because he got really mad and screamed for 5 min straight. Its because the Anime established during the last 5 or 6 episodes how Overpowered the royal guards are. Especially Youpi, when it comes to brute strength. And suddenly Killua uses his well known power of turning his aura into electricity in a totally new way that allows him to... well, you all saw what happened.

Im so glad there are realistic scenes like this out there that show its not as easy as people think. And it shouldn't be in my opinion. Just like Knuckle who is a lovable softy who tries to look tough. Im wondering how many lives he has taken. (If there where any) I mean he was introduced as an assassin.

I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about why I call him "reluctant". It isn't because of any trepidation he demonstrates, it's because as soon as we met him, it was obvious that it was with great reluctance that he accepts life as an octopus. The nickname is in relation to his desire to be a squid.

We can't all be killers, in fact the percentage of people who can shoot to kill is very low. In fact during World War 2 most soldiers just fired randomly in the direction of the enemy. Rather than specifically aiming to hit a specific target or shooting in a place that would result in a fatality. As a result most of the casualties of the War were caused by means in which the killer could not see his opponent. Such as artillery. Ikalgo is at least part human, in fact he may be one of the most human of the Chimera Ants. Thus killing does not come naturally to him.

As much as I love Killua going Super Saiyassassin, it's overshadowed by other things that happen. In any other series, a moment like that would be the high point of the season or something, but in HxH it's just another epic moment in the lineup.
