2018-10-12 17:36:34 +0000 UTCI just realized something. The whole arc of Gon looking for Ging, very much reminds me of A Boy Named Sue. A father abandoning his son prompting said son to seek him out. All the while the father has left an obstacle (or obstacles in the case of Ging) in hopes that it will make his son stronger.
