Lol one piece is good sure great at world building (even if later on its half the length from all the recaps per episode) but they are different beasts. I will say this. Once you've seen one piece you will be changed. You'll be hella older because damn that's alot of episodes

You also need to take an accountant that he has been in the body for 3 years so I’m sure at the beginning he was fine with it but at some point early on during their journey I think he started to realize that he cannot longer enjoy the simple things like feeling rain, eating his favorite foods, having his favorite drinks and even something like going to sleep because as Curtis pointed out everyone is asleep while Al is the only one awake with no one to talk to(which now that I think about it I think that is possible the reason why he overreacted to what berry said about him being not real). I feel like Hiromu Arakawa tries to teach her audience a lesson through what her characters go through, in fact I even heard an interview where she used the quote “with greater power comes great responsibility”(because she is a big fan of American comics, especially Spider-Man who was the inspiration behind Edward charater) to tell her audience that if alchemy was a real thing then people like Tucker would also have access to this power, which if you can’t tell is the reason why she created that small arc in episode 4.

Yea, someone else pointed that out... It was just misspeak of names. Obviously she was referring to Ed, as that's the relationship that is brewing so nicely, but also it'd be kinda silly to think that armor is growing. :-)

Three things about this episode really struck me. First Hohenheim's comment about getting out. It was so ominous and foreboding it made me have to know what was coming. Then there was how much I love teachers character. She just wants to be normal in her everyday life but when she's serious she's one of the most powerful people in the show. Her relationship with Ed and Al is beautifully written, especially on Ed's end. And lastly Al talking about how lonely night is. It gives me chills just thinking about it. He's just a kid, but he has to live with all that.

Can't wait until you react to Devil is a part timer, but I can be happy with fmab for now, mustbang, ere mustspank, I mean Mustang, is my favorite character... because of... reasons. XD

I like this series man don't get me wrong however in terms of favorite anime once you see one piece you will be completely changed

Having seen both HxH & FMAB,HxH is my favourite out of the two,HxH Chimera ant arc is one of the best arcs in anime imo,fmab would be a close second because the last arc is amazing

Hohenheim is a bit of a mystery at this point, but despite his bluntness, you can tell he cares for his family. He wanted to pat Ed on the head but decided against it, and he wanted to bring along a photo of them together while he continued his journey. Even last episode, I personally saw the look he gave Ed more as being very sad (considering he was at Trisha's grave) rather than cold and distant. Also, did you pick up on the fact that Hohenheim looked the exact same in the picture of him with Pinako when she was much younger.

I don't know how well it was explained but Ed knew Al's soul was really attached to the armor because it's theoretically possible that Ed accidentally put a collection of memories about Al together into the suit thinking it was Al. But Since he remembered something that Winry did but Ed didn't that must mean that it really is Al's soul.
