I thought it was odd to peel away from the licensing test, but then this episode turned out to be really fun! I guess I should know better than to second-guess the writers of MHA, because they rarely, if ever, misfire! :-)

They either needed to have their episode tie into the theme or there would not have been a My Hero Academia episode that week. Therefore we got a filler, but they also managed to promote the MHA movie as well.

2018-09-10 17:15:55 +0000 UTCYoy seem to have misses the after the credits scene here. Basically it jusy reveals this whole episode was to setup the MHA movie coming out in two weeks. The whole trip All Might is taking Deku on is the plot for the movie

2018-09-10 17:02:11 +0000 UTCThis episode is Semi-Filler because it sets up for the MHA Movie which is canon. Curtis you should go see the movie. It’s only in theaters for a week from September 25th to October 2nd. I’d recommend you take your grandkids with you. It think this movie is a good introduction to the series itself, especially for younger viewers. And if you do see the movie, you should do a movie review on the channel and discuss what’d you thought about the movie.
