Agreed Curtis. This was a great episode from start to finish. One of those episodes where I barely blinked while watching. Lust is gone which means Gluttony is most likely going to run wild very soon. I'm looking forward to where the story goes from here.

A bit late, but here's something you may not have noticed because it was so quick: When Mustang is burning Lust, Hawkeye shouts, "Colonel, no!" At first glance, it may seem she's just afraid for his life, but there's actually a bit more to it than that. It'll be expounded upon over the course of the series, and ends up leading to something that's a bit contentious (though ultimately is a debate of whether shonen tropes are good or bad). To say too much here would spoil, but suffice to say she doesn't like it when he gives in to his rage.

I love Mustang and Hawkeye’s relationship in this series, this is one of the few episodes you see her loose her composure. That scene with her unloading all she had into Lust followed by Mustangs come back, gives me chills every time.

Fire abalilitys are so dope no matter what series. Major props to mustang

I'd like to say 19 is one of the best episodes but once you're far enough into the series it becomes increasingly hard to pick favorite eps, especially in the last half of the series.

Mustang got insanely lucky against lust. If her stone's power hadn't run out at that monent, he would have gotten stabbed in the forehead. Thankfully lust had gotten stabbed in the forehead herself back in episode 10 when she tried to kill hughes. So in a way, hughes was able to help his friend 1 last time from beyond the grave.

I belive there is a filler episode in the first FMA that shows where the puppy came from. There is also a filler that shows barry befor they turned him into a hollow armour. Since you like barry and all.

I haven't watched the video yet but I'm sure Curtis will greatly react to the boobs scene with Lust. When I rewatched the series and that scene I immediately thought of Curtis, I don't think he ever related as much to an anime character before, good job Havoc!

did you know that when the writer of fullmetal alchemist introduced havoc she made sure he was a smoker just so there would be a reason he'd have a lighter with him, taking into account the manga used to drop once a month means she had already thought about this scene a year before she introduced havoc which i think shows how amazing the writer actually is

Just shows you how good this series is, when you have an episode as good as that without the main protagonist. Proves that well developed and interesting side characters are good to have.
