For me to get over that type of feeling (I was the same) I just had to think of the fact we hunt animals to near extinction constantly, it's a twist on the hunter becoming the hunted.

2019-07-14 04:50:10 +0000 UTCThe main reason that I dislike this arc is because I find the whole ants cosuming millions of humans thing too disgusting. When I first watched this arc I would typically wait at least hours after an episode where a large nuber of people were eaten or killed because my stomache could not handle it. Its the same reason that it is hard to bring myself to continue watching Attack on Titan because there was a time where I could not bring myself to eat any meat because I was so disgusted by the show.

When you started going on about cartoons just when the explanation about the Chimera Ants started, I was worried you'd miss something, and since you're a few episodes ahead it'd be a few epsodes where you'd be confused before you got help. (as many reactors I've followed have had this very issue). So I'm really glad you picked up on all of it

It's a fitting name, much like how the Chimera from Greek mythology was made up of many different animals. So it appears the Chimera Ants are shaping up to be.
