what i love about fmab is that it doesn't rely on action scenes or following the protagonist to keep viewers engaged. Just simple conversation and character development drives the story. The same can be said with hxh The scene with Heinkel and Al talking was incredible. Ed & Al after learning the truth about philosopher stones refuse to use them because of it's source, but now given a reason to use one, to give the souls that were forever haunted a reason to be used for the greater good against the ones that condemned them. Amazing

Can't believe we're in 50s now! Some of my favorite fights are coming in very soon. Gonna be a hell of a week this and the next one. Btw Curtis, can you make a top5 or top10 or top_whatever list of your favorite characters in this show at this moment? Would be cool to compare the list to the one you'll have after EP64.

I’ve only teared up/cried at a couple of parts in this series but I never would have expected when I first watched this show that Heinkel, one of Kimblee’s ex-soldiers would be one of the characters to do it. His speech at the end of this episode is incredible.

They would know he has the stone. The red light and him making brand new legs give it away.
