When you stop and think about it none of the relationships that Takashi has with any of the girls is exactly "healthy". Rei's only with him because she's on the rebound from the fact her boyfriend became a zombie and subsequently got his head bashed in. There's only two guys and as much as we love Hirano (Chubby) he's not exactly easy on the eyes. So she's with Takashi as an emotional crutch. Then enter Saeko who has a complex about her enjoyment of killing. An enjoyment and skill that has been instrumental in their survival. Without it none of the group would've survived as long as they have. Enter Takashi who becomes a source of approval towards her enjoyment. (If only for the sake of his own survival). She believes she is not worthy of love because she kills, and yet he still (at least as she sees it) loves her. Even going so far as to have sex with her, in many societies the ultimate expression of love. (Them just stopping at making out, strikes me as very unlikely). Now you have two girls leaning on Takashi as emotional crutches. What happens when they both find out that he's being unfaithful? Following Zombie film logic this would be the part where the group has a falling out at a critical moment. Threatening their survival, possibly even ending with one of them as Zombie food.
