A kekkei genkai is any ability specifically tied to a certain clan or a power that cannot be combined by just anyone. Like how Wood Style is made with water and Earth but only the First Hokage and Captain Draconian could use it because of their genes. Haku's Ice powers, the Lady Mizukage's Lava Style and Steam Style are all the same. The Uchiha Sharingan and Hyuga Byakugan are also kekkei genkai, even though they are visual jutsu.

I really hate this episode for one single reason. 5 kage. FIVE KAGE. Could do literally nothing to a Perfect Susano'o. And then comes this random nobody, who gives Sasuke's PS a struggle? HOW??

Anything that is inherited in their blood DNA, and past down genetically and not just a jutsu that any Shinobi can just learn is a Kekkei Genkai. Like the Sharingan, or Byakugan, or Haku's Ice ability, or Wood release, etc. Chino's Ketsuryugan is also a Kekkei Genkai.

I knew there would be PLENTY of complaints about the edits, but it's now taking me sometimes up to 4 hours to get a single video to stay up, and this was the only solution I had... It's this or black screen... I don't anticipate this with FMAB because it's in dub, but I also won't be willing to do an entire series like this anyway, so another solution would have to be found.

Curtis in case you forgot, Kekkei Genkai are abilities passed down genetically within specific clans. Kekkei genkai abilities that work via the user's eye are called dōjutsu. Other kekkei genkai include mixing one type of elemental chakra with another, creating a new one unique to the users, which is usually impossible for normal ninja. (Straight from wiki, too lazy to type😂).
