Hey, might want to watch the last Naruto movie as it's pretty much Canon. In fact it is Canon. And it's a good fit for right after this.

There it is the canonical ending of the Manga series! what a ride it has been curtis! i really hope you consider watching boruto after 500, its great, but i know FMAB is next. You will love FMAB aswell, Naruto is my personal favorite show ever but FMAB has even better story telling.

Definitely watch until the end. All of the stories are cool and the last arc is an awesome ending. And then go back and watch itachi and kakashi arcs because those are musts. That's my vote.

Yea, if i were to ask him to watch one of two anime in the future (after Brotherhood or HXH or whatever he's watching after those) i would vote for Assassination Classroom and or A Certain Magical Index.

If he were to do both Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Boruto he would haft to get rid of either his Fanservice anime (not going to happen) or Hunter X Hunter (which also isn't going to happen any time soon.) He will haft to Finish either Botherhood or HXH (since there is no short supply of Fanservice anime for him to react to.)

I definitely recommend, after you finish the series to watch the 2 canon movies (The Last and Boruto Naruto the Movie) before moving on to FMA:B, you could cut them up like you did Rock Lee vs Gaara for example

As said earlier, watch the movie "Naruto the Last". It is a direct connection between Naruto and Boruto and part of the plot(unlike the first 9 movies). Because without the "Naruto the Last" you wouldn't understand some important things in Boruto. But after the movie you can watch the other episodes of Naruto Shipuden, as it is not fillers, they are novels on different characters. Remaining episodes (except 2-3 episodes) made on 3 novels. Not a spoiler!!! The episodes will be in the following characters(these are all series 2 years later after the war): 1. The Story Of Sasuke. 2. Shikamaru's Story. 3. The story of Naruto and Hinata(in fact). Also, you will not need to watch the movie Boruto, as in the anime will be an extended version, purely on the plot, without the cut. BUT! You can watch Boruto's movie if you want to see the difference in what is happening; believe me, the difference is huge! But when you watch all the series like Naruto and Boruto, you can watch the first 9 movies, because the stories there interesting in terms of the soundtrack with every part of getting better.

Naruto: the last movie is CANON so make sure to watch it....

He’s watching full metal alchemist after naruto, probably will do boruto sometime after. Also he only watches the dub episodes of MHA and they are 2 episodes behind. Next dubbed episode comes out tomorrow so we’ll probably get the reaction for it on Monday.

Before you finish shippuden you should watch Naruto the Last. It's a movie but you can just split it into 4 parts or something.

I remember the first time I’d see this episode I was on the verge of tears because of all the emotional connection that I had to the characters... Oh and I’m jazzed as hell that you are watching the light novel episode because almost all of them are amazing

You need to watch all the fillers before the ending because even though they didn't happen in the manga, they still lead up to the end just AS IF they were canon.

I know you said you were going to watch FMA and maybe Boruto later on. Maybe when you watch episode 500 you'll change your mind and you will do both FMA and Boruto lol,i mean you loved Naruto and they will be in Boruto. We will just have to wait and see what happens.You are going to start now season 21 which is pretty much fillers till pretty much episode 484 and some people even consider the whole season 21 to fillers till the last episode. But im pretty you will like from 484 down. Just giving you some insight lol.
