A few things the studio did a really good job in this episode. Two this fight has very similar aspect to obito vs kakashi. Lastly they even used music from part 1 which was really cool.

Idk if anyone saw but the only person to help sauske make the chidori was itachis hand. It’s very hard to see but it’s there 😥😥

In case you didn't notice, the first hand that "helped" naruto make the rasengan was pervy sage, the guy who taught him the rasengan in the first place.

I'm sure others have pointed this out, but if you look closely during the final Rasengan vs Chidori clash you'll notice Itachi's hand behind Sasuke, supporting him. This goes back to their final encounter where Itachi tells Sasuke, "But I want to impart at least this much truth to you. You don't ever have to forgive me. And whatever you do from here on out, know this. No matter what, I will love you always." I thought it was a nice touch for the anime to include Itachi's hand behind Sasuke, symbolizing their relationship at the end.

Definitely one of my favourite​ fights in the show, just ​because it was actually done so well. There was a good mix of actual hand to hand combat and flashy techniques. And then them going back to each of their signature moves is great.

Curtis keeps saying he wants Sasuke dead. Has he forgotten they need him alive to undo the Infinite Tsukynomi?

Fun fact: Even with the 10tails Susano'o Naruto was a whole lot stronger than Sasuke, he was just holding back for the entire fight. (Swagkage has made a vid about This in the past)

Not sure if you noticed, but after Naruto's Rasengan was infused by all the people from his past, Sasuke's Chidori was infused by Itachi

My personal favourite moment in the series: beat up Naruto smiling at Kurama giving him one last fist bump *sad music kicks in* 😢 without words, telling him "thank you my friend"

Sasuke and Naruto’s relationship never felt unnatural when you think about it. Sasuke was a part of Naruto’s first idea of a “family” and viewed him as a brother. You should also remember that this same brother, Sasuke, risked his life for him several times throughout Part 1. Other than Iruka, there was no one who would even want to look at Naruto, let alone risk their life to protect him. So you know that left a profound impact on Naruto and his view of Sasuke permanently and really sealed him as his brother in his mind. I mean as much as me and my brother fight each other, there’s no one I’d rather fight for a well.

These forms, usually referred to as "Indra Susano'o" and "Asura Kurama", are Naruto and Sasuke's full power, and are only ever used in this fight as far as we know.

In the final clash where the hands all help Naruto, I see it as him finally learning how to use the rasengan properly as he always needed clones to get the rotation. I like it because it would fit perfectly thematically as Naruto has always been about allowing others to help you grow and in the end he finally masters rasengan by imagining all of his comrades hands rotating it. I might be reading into it too much but I think that would be really awesome.

In my most humble opinion, I feel like the relationship between Naruto and Kurama is WAYYY better than that of Naruto and Sasuke because it felt so unnatural. The weird obsession that Naruto feels with Sasuke’s ultra-emo bitchass puts me off too much. On the other hand, Kurama, who has spent the entirety of Naruto’s life to get to know him, saw hope in humanity through the knuckle-head ninja. Kurama has LITERALLY been there for Naruto since Day 1. Yes he murdered Kushina and Minato, but only after centuries of torture and manipulation inflicted by others, so it was natural that he felt threatened. We have seen the steady and natural growth of Kurama’s and Naruto’s relationship from the 1st episode, which all culminated into the beautiful fist bump. So, when that last scene when Naruto smiled at him and bumped Kurama’s fist like a buddy, that was what got to me and made me bawl.

Just wanna point out that in 12:17 if you pause it at right time you can see there is only one person who is helping Sasuke and that is Itachi. As Itachi said he will always support and help him no matters what. Great fight

It was a nice addition, and really helped show that Sasuke understands Naruto more than anyone except, perhaps Kurama. Wonder if Kishi had that planned from the start or not

My only problem with this fight is I wish they would of fought when they were both rested. They are both so tired cause they have been fighting for so long especially naruto. If they were both at %100 I think the fight would of been better.

Honestly, I think the whole loneliness thing with Naruto's clones was a really interesting connection even if you want to view it more as a thematic detail than something that consciously affected Naruto. Until Sasuke said that, I never once thought about the fact that the first major jutsu and specialty of Naruto, the kid that grew up alone without friends or family, was an ability that makes people to keep him company.
