ANOTHER GREAT MOMENT BETWEEN THE ELRIC BROTHERS! - FMAB #9

Wow! The emotions in this show are SO consistent and solid! Watching the Elric boys work things out - with the help of their little, sweet blonde friend - was incredibly heartwarming! :-)

ANOTHER GREAT MOMENT BETWEEN THE ELRIC BROTHERS! - FMAB #9

Damn. Another tear jerker episode. Windrey is already one of my favourite love interests in anime. Such a sweetheart.

God fma is rough sometimes...

Not sure if anyone’s mentioned this or if you noticed, but Hughes is voiced by the same voice actor for krillin

There's things the 2003 anime did much better, but they strayed from the manga. I do miss the fact that becoming a State Alchemist and coming to terms with what that meant was part of the journey, not just a single scene like in FMA:B. The intro sequence (2 episodes in Liore, then the flashback) is also paced better than FMAB (filler, flashback, Liore). I don't know that I'd recommend watching the entire 2003 anime, because Curtis is already trying to squeeze in a lot of series and this would essentially be an AU rather than its own experience, but seeing his reaction to 2003's version of some pivotal scenes and episodes would be interesting.

in the 2003 fullmatal alchemist this moment that al don`t think ed is he's brother they do fight but winery don`t step in to stop the fight and ed and al fight then al leaves making this go on for 2 more episodes I think but anyway ever this you need to watch the 2003 fullmetal hell even I buy the dvd for you to watch and react to the story is why diffent the beginning is the some but they hole story is diffent and there more of a serous tone but there are some funny moments but it does make it fell so diffent anyone hope one day you do because I would love love to see ur reaction to it anyway love you have a good day and week love you

Don't know if anyone's suggested it, yet, but you may want to watch a video of Vic Mignogna (Ed's voice actor) singing the song "Brothers." I don't think they use the theme in FMA:B but it was playing underneath moments like this in the FMA 2003 anime. Vic sang a translated version at fan request, not as part of the series.

Fun fact: The Ishvalans are based on the Ainu

Hughes may be incredibly protective of his daughter. (Understatement of the year). But you gotta admit when push comes to shove, some years down the line she'll be thankful for it. Also can't wait to see you react to Scar's past. You're in for a treat. The Ishvalan War is probably one of the coolest background events in all of Anime.

This show starts to get good. I watched this episode a few days ago and a few more. A few hours I watched episode 64. Gotta say the anime is amazing. The shit starts picking up so fast from this point onwards!

"Just in 64 episodes". 64 episodes of about 19 minutes each is much longer than a regular movie.

The scene when Al looks at the mirror and he cracks at always gets me 😢. I wouldve gone insane inside a fake body. Not bieng able to feel would be the worst

Im preparing my feels now.

Moral of the episode their will always be a missing screw when you build something from scratch

Lachlan Ferrand

yeah it's my fav episode. i had to laugh my ass of, even on a rainy day

Joey Visser

If I remember correctly next episode is one of the happiest in the series. We even get some light rain

Weiss Schnee

I’m noticing a trend of “brotherly fights” on top of hospital rooftops 😂 (NARUTO and SASUKE, Ed and Al)

Devin Hahn

FMAB is built in such a way that it feels like you're watching a movie... just in 64~ episodes.
