A bit late but what makes this so fascinating is that Nen is *the* power system of the HxH universe, like Chakra in Naruto or energy in DBZ, which means Gon and Killua have been fighting up to this point without any real knowledge of that system, which is why they are so scary in terms of potential. It'd be like Naruto and Sasuke both being the most skilled of the Genin but then both being like "Wait, what is this Chakra thing everyone uses? what's a Jutsu?"

I thought it was pretty obvious it was gonna be an energy system by the names alone, besides it being called an every system isn’t that big a spoiler compared to anyone saying in detail what the energy system is about.
