He's been an incredibly entertaining (if somewhat annoying and kind of a douchebag) villain. I guess it can't be helped though, they kind of out-stripped his power level back in Season 1. Also I like that Issei doesn't kill Diodora, instead he lets him live with the humiliation of being defeated by one he thought as inferior to himself.
