In the original material the loki arc actually takes place after the next arc (diadora arc) and has issei and vali (white dragon) team up to fight loki. The arc that actually takes place here is a rating game between rias and the student council president.

2018-06-29 05:19:09 +0000 UTCI'll be honest I always kind of shipped Kiba with Koneko (just based on their interactions in the earlier seasons), I'm a little miffed about him going after Tsubaki and Koneko going for Issei. Though I am glad that someone other than Issei is getting a girl for once. Also yeah I did not see Issei's death coming either. I didn't think the writers had the balls to do it, but apparently they do.
