I loved this episode but it makes so much sense how bakugo said you cant just run bc obviously hes not gonna let you so there does have to be an element of fighting. They were both right but just needed to compromise which was cool

I think it's important to remember that Bakugo usually isn't being literal when he tells people to die. I like how neither Bakugo nor Deku are right in the beginning of the fight and that the correct answer was in the middle of what each wanted to do. And now you've officially met best girl. She is a crazy bundle of joy.

Yes, one more episode of Season 2. The first 11 episodes of Season 3 are dubbed, too, if you're using a Funimation account to watch. The first episode of Season 3 (titled "Game Start") is 80% flashbacks and 20% anime-original filler, it wasn't *bad* but it's inconsequential, and very obviously was made because there was something like 6 months between Season 2 and 3 (ie, "in case you forgot anything, here's two seasons in 20 minutes!")

That’s exactly what he’s doing, you can see that when all might had him on the ground. Bakugo was saying that all might is the strongest and that he’s the “biggest wall in the world” (the dub sucks with their translations)

(Note: this is my personal opinion) My favourite part of this episode is how it shows How great of a hero that Bakugo is. Even at the beginning of the match when both deku and kacchan were scared of all might, but Kacchan was the only one smiling. I'd also argue that kacchan is a better hero than deku and that he was the MVp of the fight. Yes, Bakugo is a dick, but he intentionally acts like that in order to be the strongest he can be. While deku wants to be a hero to be like all might, Bakugo just tries to be himself.

It's amazing how Horikoshi comes up with so many unique character designs but also amazing how they come up with so many unique powers for characters as well. This combined with how much development the whole class of characters get is what makes My Hero Academia one of the best anime around at the moment. I sincerely hope it continues this way, and we don't end up where we usually do with these kinds of shows where the background characters start to become irrelevant.

Honestly i like how All might saw the good and bad in both. Deku loves helping and his friends but he is a bit too much in the moment and in this case held all might so high on a platform he thought they could only run not realizing they could never just out run him. Bakugo NEVER gives up even being beatin in the face he wont flinch and will fight. All Might saw even he smiles in his fights. But like Deku to a extent he can be too rash to people rather than combat. In combat he calculates and strategies but with people he rushes in.
