No, I don't think so. While, for me, he's too extreme about the way he goes about acting on his beliefs, those beliefs most definitely have some basis in thoughtfulness and fact.

I only just realised that stain geting Deku with his blood quirk a second time means he could have killed him. The only reason he's alive, is because stain deemed him to be a potential "real" hero that's not just talk.🤔

I fucking hate Endeavor as a person but I love him as a character because of how good he is at what he does, if you didn't know Shoto's perspective you would think Endeavor is incredible, even if a little standoffish and that makes him fascinating. I feel like most anime would be too inclined to make him an unlikable hero as well as an unlikable person which would make ho spot as no.2 Hero seem pretty silly. But no, he is actually very effective and very professional as a Hero to the point that it's hard to argue with him being ranked 2nd of all Heroes. Endeavor is just one of the more intriguing characters to me because of the contradiction in him and I would love to know some of his thought processes.

Yeah, Endeavor is kind of an example of how just because someone is a terrible person, they're not necessarily bad at their job, and sometimes in the professional world, you need the clarity of mind to look past that even if you don't like him. Also, I love how Iida immediately recognizes Midoriya's moves as being similar to Bakugo's. That's even what Midoriya was thinking when he originally started practicing on his mobility. It's kind of like when Midoriya copied Eraserhead's capture techniques in his fight against Bakugo and shows that as much of a bully as he's been, Midoriya still respects Bakugo about as much as he does actual professional heroes, which was touched on earlier with Midoriya keeping a journal entry on him.

Yeah, I don't like that either. They're literally opposites. One is showing how professional Endeavor is on the job while the other portrays him as rather disrespectful.

The thing is no matter what kind of dad he may be Endeavour is the real deal when it comes to heroics, only reason All Might is #1 and he is #2 is the personality and character (plus one for all is kind of broken as heck)

It's a little annoying that the dub changes Endeavor's reaction to Gran Torino from "honored elder" to "old timer".

But they are both savage. And I still love the sense of danger I get from this show. At least the first time I watched it. Even if we know that Deku becomes the greatest hero like he said in the prolog. We also allways knew that Naruto is gonna become Hokage and Luffy king of the pirates. You just know it l. Doesn't ruin anything for me. I prefer it over Naruto anyday. And that's saying something because I'm a huge Fan.
