Strap in Curtis, this anime gets good quick. There's also a tone shift near the end (gets hella serious) I think this anime has like 160 episodes. Also NO FILLER! YAY

All of the characters in this anime are their own person. They're never just played off as "the main characters' friends," and after watching 102 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh, it's quite the breath of fresh air!

I wonder how your opinion of Gon will become over the series :D he seems to be your favorite so far but it's interesting to know that he's usually around 3rd/4th in HxH character popularity , I think he's very well written for a main character but there are certain couple of characters that are just so much fun and entertaining to watch, I love Gon a lot but I would consider him in the bottom of my top 10 HxH characters

This Arc is very surreal. A lot like jumping straight into the chunin exam arc and it's actually awesome. I think you'll really enjoy this series curtis.
