I'm late on this but dubs all the way. I don't understand why you'd want to watch a reaction video in sub. The text is small enough as it is, let alone when it's in a box in the corner. When you watch it by yourself that's the time for subs if you enjoy watching that way. I personally avoid subs unless I'm far too impatient to wait for dubs. I only really watched hunter x hunter, One Piece and Naruto in sub and that's only because the dubs were way behind the subs (and Hunter x Hunter hadn't even announced a dub yet).

The dub isn't bad,but the Sub is better especially with the main villain later in the dub he's sounds more calm and badass in the sub,whereas the dub has shown him to be more sadistic and over the top,btw this is coming from someone who always watches dub

I like the sub voices... I've grown more and more comfortable with watching subs. My only concern about it for reaction vids is that it doesn't allow me as much freedom to talk directly to you guys while watching.

I think the dub for both shows will be just fine to watch, I personally don’t see too many big issues with the dub that could deprive you of a good experience. One that has this problem is the original Funimation dub for Z which had bad characterization for Goku and plenty of mistranslation. Brotherhood and Hunter X Hunter don’t have these problems so I’d go with the Dub.

Normally I enjoy watching dubs as much as I do subs, and in some cases I find the dub to be better, like with FMA, but the hunterxhunter dub really isn't great , 3 of the main characters voices sound both too young and feminine, it's the kind of voice that you would expect from a much older dub that wouldn't pass now a days. So I think the sub is definitely the way to go for HxH

idk too much about the hunter x hunter dub but from what I've seen the VAs for the 2 MCs (killua and gon) are pretty annoying
