2018-07-10 04:42:34 +0000 UTCUnlike DxD I've actually seen Keijo before. (I didn't finish it though). While it is funny and somewhat cute, it's kind of lacking in story. It's basically a tits and ass Anime that uses sports tropes. Also the premise of the sport is kind of ridiculous. (Odd concept coming from a guy who's guilty pleasure is Girls und Panzer I know). The thing is you can have a ridiculous premise. You just have to make it seem logical within the confines of the story's world. Then try to sell said logic to the viewers. The first time around I didn't buy it, maybe this time around I'll get far enough into it that the sales pitch will work.
