2022-03-23 02:46:38 +0000 UTCJust wondering if you would ever do a tutorial on making a verse of a song, cause as much as a lot of songs always focuses on the drop, it would be interesting to learn how to make verse sections interesting as well!

2022-03-22 21:54:22 +0000 UTCI could use some wisdom on how to limit your time on a track. Put that sucker to bed and move on. Do you use artificial time constraints? Does your manager or a label set a deadline for you?

2022-03-22 16:08:54 +0000 UTCWould love to see a walkthrough of LifeTime and Echo Chamber! I would also love to see your process of starting a heavier dubstep drop/tune! Also a melodic one!

2022-03-22 04:31:18 +0000 UTCI've been chasing that lead guitar sound in the stuck on you drop for so long! Would love insight on it

2022-03-21 23:37:25 +0000 UTCI would love to know how you balance all the things you have going on, that's something I always struggle to do :)

2022-03-21 23:24:09 +0000 UTCLol, thanks! I totally agree regarding equipping each other with our own tools—I didn't intend to imply learning your methods in such detail for purposes of replication! Just seeing others think outside the box (or inside it) in their own way always seems to help me understand the concepts more practically, streamline my own experimentation process (huge), and ultimately build my own "tools" from scratch. I really do feel you though about the second-nature difficulty. It's like, "Hey man, explain your breathing considerations" haha. On that note, if you're considering this avenue sometime it may be helpful to talk about the steps you took (teachers you had? tutorials you liked? practice routines you got into?) from the beginning to get you started, to intermediate, etc. Just spit-balling here, thanks sm just for the consideration lol

2022-03-21 21:56:20 +0000 UTCGonna hop on the Echo Chamber walkthrough train! Specifically, deconstruct those laser basses in the second drop

2022-03-21 21:53:01 +0000 UTCI would love to know a little more about your work and live balance. I think this is an very important topic. If I make music for several days in a row, I don't feel like making music for 1-2 weeks afterwards!

2022-03-21 21:50:45 +0000 UTCWould REALLLLLYYYYYY love to know how you go about approaching /utilizing foley and creating the soundscape within your tracks.

2022-03-21 21:42:08 +0000 UTClove the more philosophical take here, could be an interesting one to cover. a lot of this is second nature/my own taste, so would be hard to breakdown or notice what im doing in that sense but could be something for me to try figure out! my aim in these tutoirals and this patreon as a whole is to give you the tools to do this yourself/give you your own methods eventually :)

2022-03-21 21:34:01 +0000 UTCWould love to see a tutorial on your process for writing a heavier drop. How to layer basses, building a grove with heavier basses, etc. There is zero content that I’ve found online that really provides a good framework and this is something that myself and a lot of people struggle with.

2022-03-21 21:32:25 +0000 UTCI'd love to learn about your methods/process from imagining a type of sound to creating it! The various considerations associated with that whole process. Bass, 808's, leads, organic vs. ?, etc. I'm interested in seeing where your approach differs (or stays consistent) for creating the different elements of a song's palette! (Maybe layering considerations too? Like, designing a complex element that involves imagining "incomplete" steps that come together to make a whole)

2022-03-21 21:31:59 +0000 UTCEcho Chamber walkthrough would be so sick 🤘

2022-03-21 21:30:21 +0000 UTCWould love to see a walkthrough of 'Stuck on You' !! the drop is amazing and very different to your usual sound and I think would benefit off learning how to incorporate/process rock style guitars in chord stacks. Something different than the usual edm bass stuff you've covered already. <3
