Was gonna post it but decided to not bc I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a few of Those People (tm) that will take it out of context kek

Basically, I looked up to a lot of artist when I was a younger myself. I wanted to have a nice quality of art, not style or anything just quality of work. Eventually I felt like I got close to an artist who I looked up to in quality of work and I felt very accomplished, but eventually the artist kept making posts about how shit their artwork was and since I felt like I finally got to a level similar to them, it disheartened me a lot :)

I really wish self-deprecation with art wasn't common on social media, it hurts people who are aspired by an artist who claims their own art is bad.
