DS Update: Nerds do it Smarter! 🤓

Okay, I know exactly what you are thinking:

What the heck, man?! Where is my Dominatrix and why isn't she simulating all over my face!?

Amiright? Well, I'm GLAD you asked! I've been hard at work making sure that not only will she simulate ALL over your face, but she will do it in so many different ways, it'll make your head explode.

The only problem is, it takes a little bit of time to set up content pipelines that work well. I could have rushed a quicky demo to give you instant gratification, but it would have been one-and-done. I would have to start from scratch which would delay the main event that much longer. Instead, I’m taking the time to really tease out those little details and build up to something much more gratifying. The payoff will be far greater and the release of the full-game will come much sooner!

We are here to make you so fucking hard you feel like you are gonna pop / so fucking wet you feel like you'll drown without laying a finger on yourself... because you won't be able to... because you'll be virtually tied up, I'm afraid. 😈

That's right, I want you not only begging for more, but I want there to be more to give you until you can't take it anymore. I want to give you all the deliciousness that is submission to a higher, sexier power.

To that end, I want to enable real-life decadent, dominant women, starting with our very own Devilish Domina, to be able to create their own stories and content to tease us poor unwashed masses to no end. And to make it easy for them to do this, I want to give them content buckets for them to draw from.

So! To do this, I have to break out some serious nerd shit and that's what I've been doing for the last few weeks. The good news is, it's just about done!

You can either take my word for it, and stop reading now, or you can continue into the dark recesses of game development and delve into the deep, dank forests that are content creation, instant iteration, and scripting systems. Spooooooky. 👻

Just know that you've been warned! Here be (potentially mind-numbing) digital dragons.

The Vision

“Content system!?”, you say? “Yes!”, I say. Here is what I mean.

Much like the MUDs and MUSHes of ancient legend (that Devilish Domina and I have a bit of experience with), I want interested players to be able to make content from the inside-out, especially those deliciously demented Dominatrix-minded deviants out there. 

Unlike MUDs and MUSHes, though, it’ll take a bit more than a few @commands and flowery writing to get it done. I want my solution to be simple and eloquent, so I want people to be able to draw from buckets of content to build stories from. And I mean buckets! 

There are 5 buckets people should be able to add content to -- they are the most modular and most likely elements people will want to mix and match:

1. Stories/VO - The driving force that everything must obey, including you.
2. Environments/Props - The bits of world for you and your Mistress to frolic in.
3. Characters - The actors in our little drama that keep us all bound up in knots, figuratively or otherwise.
4. Animations - The delicious movements that make us drop to our knees and kiss the ground those characters walk on.
5. Player Actions/Minigames - The physical choices and specially crafted activities that you’ll partake in on your kinky adventures.

Your generous dollars will fund new content commissions that will feed into these buckets (based on what you, our incredible fans, want to see more of) and ultimately create a robust content toy box for everyone to play with. 

Explaining how each of these buckets will work in our system requires separate posts, but for now, let me just say that they will each support modding. You’ll be able to add to any of these buckets and mix-and-match as you please. Do you want a sad clown to flog you in the a flying steampunk pirate ship? You’ll be able to make that happen, my friend!

Speaking of mods, I’m currently considering the uMod Unity plugin. If anyone has opinions or experience with modding, please let me know what has worked well for you in the past and what hasn’t! I’d love to know more.
