Greetings adventurers!

There are the type of people that you can smell before you see, bathing themselves in all manner of musks they think will entice others to be attracted to them. I hate to break it to them, but cleanliness is the best scent that one can wear day to day. The simple act of bathing can really do a lot to make yourself more appealing. Definitely more than dousing yourself in noxious chemicals. What do I know though, I only have a masters in alchemy.

Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Yeah look, I wanted to make noxious body spray. Stepping back to my middle and high school days I remember people dousing themselves in this stuff and I don’t know how they got through the day without coughing. It made me think though, what could a particularly heinous brand of “perfume” do to someone and that’s where the idea started. You’ve probably already understood the pun in the name, but Fernando’s little slogan on it was just an added stroke of genius.
In the 5E version, poisoned is actually quite a powerful condition so I knew I couldn’t keep it rendered for too long as an uncommon item. Typically 3 rounds is about the shortest length of duration you see. Why 3 rounds? Well I can’t be sure but I’ve always thought of it as the shortest duration that actually feels meaningful without you forgetting about it and leaving it on forever.
In the PF2E version, there’s a lot more rules around poisons and how they’re contracted which I think is kind of cool. I wanted to follow the staged onset of them, but the hardest thing is typically just gauging the damage that goes with that. I looked into tatzylwurm venom and based the damage off that while scaling the conditions to match with the level. I always recommend looking at what’s out there first, you can often find something similar in PF2E at least.
