One More Thing: Extra Magic Items & Gruuk Jit'Jit Collab with Borough Bound

Greetings Adventurers!

This month, our One More Thing took us in a little bit of a different direction. Indeed, it took us straight up into the skies and to the goblin sky pirated city of Gruuk Jit'Jit. We put together a series of magic items to help fill out the wonderful world that the crew at Borough Bound are bringing to life and collaborated with them to bring a slice of the city to you!

Design Notes by Matthew:

Okay lets get it out of the way, yes these items used in conjunction can basically make you goblin Batman. We had a theme of goblin sky pirates to work off of and we were just so pumped to make things in that theme. Fernando and I love the chaos that goblins can bring when they start making things with little regard for personal safety!

Designing these was actually quite the test. The language on the No-Fall Knapsack definitely had to go through a few revisions for things like horizontal flying speed and descent rates. The Go Getter has a whole series of problems to solve so that it didn't insinuate you could just defy the laws of physics with it (though you still can in some ways) and the Bangsnap Bracer took a good bit of fiddling to make the risk worth it, but not extremely overpowered for the level of rarity it was at.

Overall this was a great little design challenge and I love putting together these items that have goblinoid aesthetic and function. They're a blast to work with!
