Students are constantly trying to find easier ways to learn a very complicated task, and Aviation is extremely technical. Instructors always have to be on the cutting edge of how to effectively teach students while maintaining their motivation and desire to learn levels.
Throughout my years of flight instructing I can personally tell you that the more vivid the training experience, the better the student will retain information that you convey to them. This can go for the crown portions as well as the in-flight maneuvers. Finding better ways to draw the visual picture inside of the student's head will enhance the training experience greatly.
