New Idea?
Added 2020-02-26 21:43:57 +0000 UTCSo, i recently came up with a new idea for a comic; big surprise to those of you who know me, lol.
The idea is set in a fantasy world; for this idea think Legend of Zelda inspired, since they have some similarities.
It takes place after the events of a crisis, where a legendary hero rose up from nothing to become the savior, but after defeating the big bad, saving the princess, and the kingdoms from darkness, he is honoured, but pretty much discarded; the princess whom he saved refuses any advances; the king thinks having paid him off was enough; the allies he made in his adventure rarely see him.
A year after, he works as a common sell sword, barely recognised as the same hero, many thinking him someone trying to use the 'real' heroes reputation.
Peace reigns, but evil has not yet been conquered; The wife of the big bad he defeated has taken this time to grow her own power, and rebuild what her husband once had.
The one thing she has left to obtain is her dark knight, and who better than the one who best her husband.
Hiring him as a sell sword, she tricks him to her home, where she plans to manipulate, seduce, and turn him from the light he served.
Will he resist, or fall to the demon queen?
I am certain this has been done, and not sur if I will make it, but this is an idea i thought was good.

Ooh, I like it! I would love to see if the Princess will rescue him in return and ask for his hand in marriage.

2020-02-26 21:55:50 +0000 UTCIt's not so much that it's been done before, it's that very rarely is it done. Much less with details going into the WHY. There are plenty of revenge stories and the like, but not many would be a fall from grace AFTER saving the day. So I would say go for it. At least a chapter or two, see how it feels.
