Speed Paint - Old West NaruHina

I'm a big fan of westerns, grew up on them, I wish I drew more wild west themes, but I never seem to find the right time, but after watching some old westerns and drawing the fantasy Naruto and Hinata, I really felt the desire to  Draw Naruto and Hinata in a wild West Situation, and even wrote a short 'backstory' to the image.

He stood alone on the street, the warm air blowing dust across the ground, his long dark coat billowing, revealing the two guns that hugged his thighs, comfortably sleeping in the leather holsters.

The Town of Konoha was his home, and despite having been away for a long time, he had dreamt of it many nights during the cold nights on the trail.

It angered him that the town had let such a small band of thugs make this once peaceful place a terrfying one, but he would not let this continue, and this determination had him stood before the leader of the this rag-tag group of bandits, and rustlers, alone.

"This... w-we cannot let him take them on alone!" Miss Hinata cried out to her employer, and Owner of the Hokage Saloon, Madam Tsunade. She had once been a childhood friend of the young blonde cowboy who now stood facing danger. "Naruto returned to save us, and here we are just... just sat here... letting him face them all alone!"

"Hinata..." Tsunade said. "You know what happened the last time we... the last time..."

Hinata looked away, sadness in her eyes.

"Dan was a wonderful sherriff... and we still mourn his passing." Hinata comforts her elder. "Marshall Jiraiya can not do anything unless there is proof of the law being broken... But we cannot go on living in fear like this!"

She turned to her friends, the towns doctor, Sakura. Ino, the black Jack Dealer, Tenten, the daughter of the local gunsmith, but all all looked away, partly in shame, partly in fear.

They had all lost someone to these rogues, and fear had settled on Konoha for too long for them to simply about face now.

Hinata frowned, but took a deep breath, and walked to the bar with intention, and from behind it pulled out the rifle the bartender kept there.

"Hinata, what are you doing?!" Miss Shizune asked, Madam Tsunades most loyal employee, and Dans younger sister.

"I am going out there... and I am going to help Naruto!" She stated, pushing passed SHizune, and moving out of the saloon.

"Well... now I'm scared, you got yurself a woman with a gun as your backup!" the leader of the gang mockingly stated as he saw Hinata walk out and join naruto.

"Hinata... what are you doing?" He asked, though not looking away from his enemy.

"I have come to help you..." she said, blushing. "If something happens to you, who will make an honest woman of me?"

he chuckled, grinning a little. "Oh, who said i was going to make an honest woman of you?" he teased.

"Well, Naruto Uzumaki, that kiss you gave me before you left join the Union Army had better have been a proposal, or I will never live the shame down." she smiled, though her cheeks flushed.

"If your aim is still as good as it was when we were kids... then this just got a lot easier... so how about this... we both survive... How about we get hitched after?"

"That... that soon?"

"I get the feeling I'm gonna need a good woman after this... may as make it my wife..." he teased again.

"You still have a dirty mind Naruto..."

"Yes, ma'am." He grinned.

"ENOUGH TALK!" THe leader finally said, as he went to pull his gun, but naruto was far quicker, and his quick-draw aim was a deadshot, right between the eyes, and with that, all hell broke loose, the gang splintered, circling around the couple as they began firing too, smoke filled the street quickly, the smell of gunpowder filling their noses.

The chaos was intense, but fast.

No sooner had the bullets started flying, they had stopped.

The patrons of the town looked out their windows cautiously as the silence told them nothing of the outcome.

The smoke of gunfire, and the dust that had been kicked up fromt he movements blocked out the scene, but slowly, the dead bodies of the gang were revealed, and in the centre, still in the middle of the street, miraculously without any scratches, stood Naruto and Hinata, their lips locked as they were revealed to be kissing each other in victory... and relief.
